On Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 11:23 PM our Environmental Science trail camera took a picture of a Black Bear. The image was captured about 1.5 miles East of Elm Hall, MI. Numerous other sightings and images of black bears have been reported in the area. We wish to map the distribution of sightings and confirmed images of black bear to determine the relative abundance of them within our area.
