We’re excited to welcome Officer Greene from the Gratiot County Sheriff’s Office as our new School Resource Officer! 🎉

We appreciate the proactiveness and strong partnership of Officer Greene and the Gratiot County Sheriff’s Office. Officer Greene will be shared among schools throughout Gratiot County, and you will see him—along with other officers—regularly in our buildings, focused on getting to know students and staff and building positive relationships.

Through a Memorandum of Understanding between Gratiot County schools and the Sheriff’s Office, this partnership emphasizes mentorship, education, prevention, and assistance, supporting both student safety and a welcoming school environment.

We’re grateful for this collaboration and look forward to the positive impact this partnership will have across Gratiot County schools. 💙🚓

📚✨ Good News About Our Schools! ✨📚
Our 2024–2025 NWEA Reading scores are in—and our Pirates made impressive growth from fall to spring!

Across grade levels, students showed strong gains in both RIT scores and percentile rankings, demonstrating hard work, resilience, and a commitment to becoming stronger readers.

🌟 From Kindergarten through 8th grade, our students continue to grow as readers, and several grades made double-digit percentile jumps!

We are incredibly proud of our students, teachers, and families for supporting literacy growth all year long. Together, we are building strong readers the Pirate way! 🏴‍☠️💙
