The annual Fulton Pirate Fundamental Camp wrapped up yesterday! We want to thank all of the young Pirates that came out and put in the work to improve their fundamentals this year. The future is bright for Pirate basketball! A big thank you to Coach Walden, Coach McEwen, and Coach Litwiller and all of the high school student-athletes who worked the camp and helped the next generation work on their skills.

The Pirates Varsity Baseball team traveled to Montabella last night for a Regional Semifinal game against Zion Christian. The bats were hot, the defense was solid, and the pitching was throwing heat and the Pirates will move on to the Regional Final with a 10-2 win over the Mountaineers. Bryson Sattler earned the win going 5.1 innings, striking out three, and only giving up two runs. The offense was paced by Jennings Burley who went 3 for 4 with 3 RBIs. Connor Cunningham also had 3 RBIs and Lincoln Beltinck scored 3 runs.
With the win they will now take on conference foe, Mt. Pleasant Sacred Heart on Saturday in the Regional Final at Theunissen Stadium on the campus of Central Michigan University. Game time is 12:30pm and tickets are $9 each. Tickets must be purchased through GoFan.co. https://gofan.co/event/6593839

Fulton Schools Board Notice
Congratulations to the Fulton Pirates Baseball team on a stellar run to a District Championship last week!
The week started with a 10-0 win over Carson City in the Pre-District game advancing boys to the district semi-final on Saturday morning against Breckenridge. In what was a well played game by both teams, the Pirates came out with a 2-0 win over the Huskies to move on the District Championship game. In the final game of the day they faced the host Montabella Mustangs. Again, they rose to the occasion, and behind a dominant pitching performance by senior, Parker Billings, they shut out the Mustangs 8-0! Great job Pirates!!
They move on to play Zion Christian in the Regional Semi-final round at Montabella on Wednesday, June 3rd at 5:00pm.
