On Wednesday, March 22 Fulton Schools held a Mental Health Night to share what we are currently doing to support student and staff mental health and wellbeing. We also shared our future plans.

Karate for Kids (Grades K-8 6:30-7:30 pm $30)
Students will be trained with proven, age-appropriate techniques that are necessary for kids to protect themselves from attackers. This program is set in a fun, yet structured, environment which will give your child a positive outlook on learning a martial art. An ongoing course, which continues in a public venue, with no hidden fees!
Karate for Families (Ages 5+ 6:30-7:30 pm $60 for your family)
Set in a fun, non-competitive atmosphere, this program allows children and parents to learn together. Physical techniques will be instructed along with drills and exercises, to help you have a positive experience with your self defense education.
Adult Class (Ages 14+ 7:30-8:30 pm $30)
Equip yourself with the confidence and abilities you need to stay safe! Students receive specialized training on how to dealt with and get out of a multitude of attack scenarios, all in a fun, pressure-free environment! We show you how to use the whole body for power, making the most of your size and strength - regardless of athletic ability.

Also May 13th is our annual Fulton Invitational for baseball, softball, and track and field. We are going to need admission, concession, and event workers. Please let Mr. Trefil know if you can volunteer. He will be doing all the sign-ups instead of sign-up genius. We need all hands on deck for this event so please consider volunteering your time for our student-athletes.
Athletics update:
HS Spring season is underway. Our varsity teams this season are baseball, softball, golf, and track and field. If any students are interested in any sport, please let Mr. Trefil know.
Spring Meet the Team night is scheduled for Tuesday March 21st at 7 PM.
Our annual Fulton Invitational will be May 13th. We will have baseball and softball tournament and the track and field invite. We are going to need volunteers to make this event possible! If you are able to volunteer please email Mr. Trefil @ trefilb@fultonpirates.net. We are going to need ticket takers, concessions, and event workers throughout the day.
Girls and boys basketball will be having their banquet tonight at 6 PM. We are asking parents/family members to bring finger food or dessert.
MS Track and Field practice will begin Monday April 3rd.
The Gratiot Isabella RESD is offering a "Suicide Awareness and Prevention for Caregivers and Communities" meeting opportunities for families and community members in Gratiot and Isabella Counties. The presentation will be on Tuesday, March 21st from 4:00-5:15 p.m. A group zoom presentation will be available at the GIRESD Mahoney Center in Ithaca.

Mental Health Awareness Meeting for Parents
Fulton Schools will be hosting a Mental Health Awareness meeting for parents and the community on Wednesday, March 22nd beginning at 6:30 in the MS/HS gym.
This is an opportunity for parents and the community to learn more about what the schools are already doing and planning to do to promote positive student mental health. It will also be an opportunity for parents and the community to ask questions and provide.

Fulton Schools is very fortunate to have Mrs. Telli Luneack as our school social worker. She spends her days working with our students in need.

Friday: HS BB home vs Breckenridge - JV 5:30 PM - Senior Night! We will be honoring our Seniors in the pep band, cheer, and basketball teams. The ceremony will take place between the JV and V games.
Due to current weather conditions all afternoon and evening events are canceled. All district offices will be closed at 1:00pm as well.
