Fire Safety pictures continued for Mrs. Brake's class.

I forgot to post the pictures from last week's visit from the Fire Fighters who helped us learn about fire safety.

We finished our first unit in Social Studies yesterday. Here is our Respectful Classroom Agreement that all the students signed their name to.

Enjoy these pictures of students at the bookfair. The sale runs through 12:30 today.

Fulton Schools conducted a Fire Drill today. This was only a DRILL.

Something fun for the family!

Good morning Fulton Elementary families. We just wanted to remind everyone that this Friday, October 24th is a half-day for all students. Students will be dismissed at 11:00 a.m. Please plan accordingly.
Thanks to the generous donation from the Biddinger family, we are having our "guess the pumpkin's weight" challenge this week. Students in each grade will have a chance to complete a goggle form to guess the weight of their grade level pumpkin. The student in each grade that comes the closest to the actual weight will win the pumpkin!

3rd graders practiced estimating, weighing and reading scales with familiar classroom objects today.

Mrs. Brake's class using their earned Brake Bucks to purchase things in Brake Store

Good morning parents. Mrs. Hustin would like invite parents to the annual Title 1 meeting scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 6th. Please see the included flyer for more information.

Mrs. Jerome's 2nd grade class had fun learning about fire safety today! Their homework is to discuss a meeeting spot and talk about their smoke alarms!

The kindergartners enjoyed fire safety today!

"The Book Fair is just days away! The Fair encourages students to read AND raises much-needed funds for our school. The easiest way for kids to shop the Fair is by creating and funding your child’s eWallet. No more worrying about cash, and their balances show right on the register. Visit our school homepage to get started: https://scholastic.com/bf/fultonelementaryschool4"

Just a reminder..... Pro Pipeline of Perrinton, MI has sponsored free popcorn for all elementary students for the month of October. Students will not need to bring money for popcorn tomorrow!

Please see the attached image for updated bookfair information. We made adjustments to support the half day on Oct. 24th.

Today my 2nd grade students dove a little deeper into understanding how to efficiently count large groups of objects. They got to sort objects with a partner and decide how to group them so they could accurately count them. They said it was "fun" math!
