November is Homeless Awareness Month. The elementary student council wants to help bring awareness of homelessness and housing insecurity in our communities. That’s why we’re partnering with United Way to raise money for Gratiot County Hope House through a coin war challenge called “Coins for a Cause”! United Way is committed to matching all funds raised (up to $10,000) so now’s your chance to double your donation! Students can bring in their spare change during November. The classroom that raises the most money will win a pizza party from United Way!🍕

Fulton Elementary would like to thank all of our volunteers who helped make yesterday's Carnival a success, without your continued support we couldn't provide these great events for students. I would also like to thank Mrs. Warren and Mrs. Hustin for all the work they did to organize the event. Additionally, it was great to see Community Service Trooper Rogers in attendance today, our future law officers (and some escapees) enjoyed getting a picture with him. Here is a link to a folder with more pictures from the fun! https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1omrN2SWF8PQveDd54t5WQtOD504sTkiR?usp=sharing

We would like to thank everyone who volunteered to run an activity for our Halloween Carnival on Thursday, without your support we wouldn't be able to make this happen. Each of you should have received some communication about what we need from you. With us getting enough volunteers, we will be able to have the celebration open to parents who are like to attend. If you are a parent and would like to attend we ask that you arrive no earlier than 1:20 p.m. on Thursday. See everyone soon.

We would like to congratulate Quinn Bond and Axton Kapala. They each won the pumpkin challenge for their grade levels. Axton had a guess of 25 lbs. 1 oz and the pumpkin weighed 23 lbs. 1 oz. Quinn was just one once off on her guess of 17 lbs. and 10 oz. Congratulations to both of you. We would also like to thank the Jeff Biddinger family for their donation of the pumpkins.
