November is Homeless Awareness Month and here at Fulton Elementary, we want to help bring awareness of homelessness and housing insecurity in our communities. That’s why we’re partnering with United Way to raise money for Gratiot County Hope House through a coin war challenge called “Coins for a Cause”!
United Way is committed to matching all funds raised (up to $10,000) so now’s your chance to double your donation! Students can bring in their spare change during November 1st-November 30th. The classroom that raises the most money will win a pizza party from United Way!
Just a reminder that Monday, October 31st is a half day of school for students. Please make sure to plan accordingly.

Huge thank you to our AWESOME custodial and maintenance crew! Each day they clean/maintain over 120,000sqft. of buildings plus maintain our grounds. Thank you for all you do to keep our facilities running!

Good morning Fulton Elementary Families. We would like to invite everyone to our annual Title One Parent Meeting. We are planning two times for you to pick from. This meeting should take about 45 minutes. You are welcome to join us on Tuesday, November 1st at 2:00 p.m. or Wednesday, November 2nd at 6:00 p.m.
Come join us to learn more about what Title One is and how it supports your student and our school. Looking forward to seeing you there.

Just a reminder to talk with your student(s) about bringing the proper clothing and outerwear for the weather. As the temperature drops students will need coats, hats and gloves for recess, they will be outside for 20-25 minutes. Also, layering clothes for inside the school is reccomended.
The PTO will be having their monthly meeting at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 18th. If you are interested in joining the meeting we will meet in the Elementary School Office.

Shout out today to our amazing cafeteria staff! They have served over 18,000 meals since the start of school! Thank you for all you do to keep our students fueled up for learning.
Our book fair is coming next week. We will be open for sales the 18th, 20 & 21st from 7:30am to 3:15pm. Friday the 21st will be open all day for parents to come shop with their students. Anyone interested in volunteering please contact the elementary office.
