Congrats to the 2025 Homecoming Class Reps!

Congrats!
In an effort to streamline parent/staff communication, Fulton Schools will be moving to a standard digital communication tool for classroom teachers, sports teams, and extracurricular clubs. For the 2025-26 school year, we will be using Remind.com for all classroom and extracurricular communications with families.

We hope this will streamline communication between teachers, coaches, and club advisors. Remind.com will enable teachers, coaches, and advisors to communicate with parents both in groups and individually.

If you don't yet have the Remind code(s) for your student, please reach out to the teachers, coaches, and advisors.

Middle School Families

As we begin the new school year, we want to remind you of Fulton Middle School’s phone-free policy and share an important update.

Fulton Middle School is a phone-free school for the entire school day for all students. Each student is issued a Yondr pouch at the beginning of the year. Upon arrival at the 1st hour, students are expected to power off their phones and place them inside the pouch, which locks securely. Students may keep the pouch with them throughout the day or store it in their locker. At dismissal, students unlock their pouches before leaving the building.

What’s new this year:
To ensure consistency and reduce disruptions, we will not unlock pouches at any point during the school day — including during lunch. Students will have access to their phones again at the end of the day. If an urgent matter arises, families can always call the main office, and we will ensure students receive messages or are called down if needed.

We are making this change because:
Phones can be a significant distraction from learning, relationships, and social time during lunch.
Consistency helps prevent misuse and eliminates pressure on students and staff to make exceptions.
This ensures a calmer, more focused environment for all students.

We appreciate your support as we continue to prioritize student learning, safety, and positive connections. Thank you for helping us reinforce this expectation with your student before the first day.
