4 rooms almost done. A lot of work remains, but we are making progress.
We are thrilled to welcome our new K-12 art teacher! Tamara was born and raised in Michigan and is an accomplished marketing professional and graphic designer who has lived and worked in California for the past 20 years. Tamara has a BFA from Kendall College of Art & Design. She has forever been “young at art” and has recently moved home and is continuing to pursue her love and passion for Art by fostering the same in students as a Fulton Schools Art Teacher. Her classes are created to enhance traditional and technological learning and individual growth and achievement, while having fun! She hopes her projects will allow her students to develop their art skills while instilling an appreciation for and a personal, life-long value on Art.

Volleyball open gyms are starting tomorrow at Fulton High School from 6-8 p.m. If you are a current Fulton student/parent, then please check your student email. We would also love to see some of our alumni players join us and bring a little competition. Please tag others who may not be tagged. Here are some important details. 1. We are only allowed in the gym and locker rooms. Please enter through the high school gym door. Please arrive around 5:45, so we can get the net(s) up and begin on time. 2. The water may be turned off due to construction, so please bring plenty of water to hydrate yourself. 3. Because the water may be turned off, restrooms may not be available. Please use the restroom right before you leave to come to open gym. For emergencies, there are porta potties in the parking lot. 4. This is meant to be a fun time for you to dust off your volleyball skills, so bring your athletic shoes, knee pads (if needed), and a great, positive attitude! Here are the dates for open gyms this summer (all are from 6-8 p.m.): Wednesday, June 8 Monday, June 13 Wednesday, June 15 Monday, June 20 (I will be absent, so I need another coach to cover this if possible...stay tuned!) Wednesday, June 22 Monday, June 27 Wednesday, June 29 NO OPEN GYM MONDAY, JULY 4 - HOLIDAY/DEAD WEEK NO OPEN GYM WEDNESDAY, JULY 6 - DEAD WEEK Monday, July 11 Wednesday, July 13 NO OPEN GYM MONDAY, JULY 18 - JV/VARSITY TEAM CAMP AT CMU JULY 18-19 Wednesday, July 20 Monday, July 25 Wednesday, July 27

Good Morning Fulton Families As we continue to learn more about the tragic events that occurred in Uvalde, Texas, please join me in praying for the victims, their families, the students, staff and community. Whenever, events such as these occur we are all struck with disbelief and questions about what could have been done to prevent this from happening. Please know that we are committed to making our campus and facilities as safe as possible. Schools should be a safe place for all students and staff. We have policies in place to keep our building secure, we teach students what to do when events like these happen and we practice emergency drills. However, it is important for all of us to actively take school safety seriously. Often after events like this we learn that almost always someone was aware of the danger. We all must be vigilant and take action when we see/hear threatening behaviors either directly or in social media posts. We are all called to action. We must be proactive to report suspicious activity to school administration or law enforcement. Reports can also me made on the Ok2Say website. If you have further questions or concerns please don't hesitate to contact your building administrator or the superintendent. We wish you all a safe and exciting summer.

This week we sent our seniors off with one last assembly. They narrowly beat the freshman in the spirit call. Then we waved them out and 11th-8th graders took their new spots in the gym.
