Welcome to Mrs. Kashmir Warren. Mrs. Warren is one of our new 1st grade teachers at Fulton Elementary. She attended Ferris State University, South Plains College and Wayland Baptist University. Mrs. Warren found a love for teaching as a young child when she used to make her mother’s daycare children be her students. She says the best thing about being a Pirate are her students and the staff. “Everyone here is amazing! Go PIRATES!” When not at school, Mrs. Warren works as a chef, chauffeur and tutor to her own children. Welcome aboard Mrs. Warren!

There was a police presence at the elementary school this morning that was not related in any way to school operations. It did not involve any of our students or parents and was handled in the parking lot.
There was fight at the ms/hs involving some of our students but this was handled by school administration with assistance from law enforcement. This situation has been resolved.
Go Pirates!

We are delighted to introduce one of our newest teachers, Mrs. Loressa Brake. She is currently assigned as a 2nd grade teacher at Fulton Elementary. Mrs. Brake attended Mid-Michigan College and Western Governors University. After getting her own children off to school, Mrs. Brake began working as a parapro. It was there that she found her true calling was to teach. She says the best part of being a Pirate so far has been the amazing, supportive elementary staff. As a first year teacher, she finds free time in short supply. But she enjoys time with her husband and children. She is also an avid gardener and mother to a flock of chickens. Please welcome Mrs. Brake to our Fulton family when you see her.

We are still in need of volunteers for our FB games tomorrow and Friday night. Here is the link to sign up: https://signup.com/go/WJQViEB

STR8TALK has arrived! STR8TALK is a drug and alcohol awareness and prevention presentation that looks and feels like a concert (big screens with video, live music, lights, fog, etc.) designed to provide hope and motivation for the future of our students. The outcomes the presentation hopes to achieve are:
1. Recognize our judgements of others,
2. Help students understand the consequences of drug and alcohol abuse, by way of a real-life story,
3. Be aware of how individual's actions impact families and those around them,
4. Provide tools for students to prevent entering the world of addiction and the benefits of choosing a drug and alcohol-free lifestyle,
5. Provide tools to understand the signs of a person using drugs and/or alcohol,
6. Inspire students to find love for themselves, make the most of their lives and follow their dreams
